Ian Taylor

Ian Taylor is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment operations and private equity. Currently serving as Director and Fund Operating Officer at ESR Europe since March 2023, Ian previously held roles including Associate Director (Real Estate Debt) at Intermediate Capital Group from May 2021 to March 2023, and Investment Operations and Finance Manager for Alternative Investments at HSBC from October 2020 to May 2021. Ian's career began at KPMG UK, where positions ranged from Associate to Manager within the Private Equity Group, supplemented by a secondment to KPMG in the Cayman Islands as Assistant Manager in the Alternative Investments audit department. Ian's early career also includes roles at PZ Cussons Beauty and as a Corporate Finance and Audit Intern at KPMG UK. Ian earned a BA (Hons) in Geography from Durham University, attended Cranleigh School from 2003 to 2008, and has developed a strong expertise in fund operations and alternative investments.
