Yavuz V. Atila serves as the ESRAG.org Board Director and Chair for the 2024-25 term while also leading the Big West North America Chapter of ESRAG since April 2020. As President and CEO of Monterey Bay Technologies since January 2003, Yavuz provides comprehensive information technology solutions, including IT consulting, network design, web-based application development, and database integration. Prior experience includes serving as Information Systems Director at CNS at Monterey Institute of International Studies from June 1993 to November 2005 and as Head of the Electronics Systems Department in the Turkish Navy from January 1991 to December 1992. Yavuz holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Science with a focus on Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic/Control Systems from the Turkish Naval Academy.

We formed ESRAG to empower members of the Rotary Family worldwide to take actions to sustain our environment, particularly to stabilize our climate. ESRAG provides an organizing point and informational resources to share information with clubs and communities about sustainable practices and the global humanitarian crisis of climate change. Our action model: Identify environmental leaders within the Rotary world, assist them in initiating environmental service projects that are meaningful to THEM, help where we can, and acknowledge and publicize their awesome work.
