Swapnil Awaghade

Swapnil Awaghade is a seasoned professional in the GIS and geospatial domain, currently serving as Group Manager at Esri India since September 2023. Prior to this role, Swapnil held the position of GIS Consultant (Utilities) at Accenture from September 2019 to September 2023, where responsibilities included leading digital modernization efforts and collaboration with stakeholders for GIS integration. At Sterlite Power, Swapnil advanced through various positions, culminating as GIS Application Specialist (Manager) from December 2016 to August 2019, overseeing GIS databases and applications. Earlier career experiences include significant roles at C-DAC, Pune, and other organizations, focusing on GIS programming, remote sensing, and project execution. Swapnil holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science and a PG Diploma in Geoinformatics from Savitribai Phule Pune University and CDAC ACTS.
