James Gibbs

James Gibbs is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in geospatial technology and application development. Currently serving as a Product Engineer at Esri UK since October 2021, James works within the Data Services team on products like ArcGIS Living Atlas of The World and Maps+, focusing on product improvement and documentation. Previously, as a GIS Consultant, James developed GIS applications for diverse clients, demonstrating expertise in Esri's suite of products. Earlier career experience includes the role of Geospatial Surveyor at Hollis, managing project deadlines while collaborating internationally. James holds a Master of Science in Human-Centred Interactive Technology from the University of York and a degree in Geospatial Surveying and Mapping Science from Newcastle University.
