Alex Laner is currently a Senior ArcGIS Desktop Analyst at Esri and a Master's student in Sustainable Urban Development at DePaul University. Previously, Alex served as a GIS Instructor at Esri and completed an internship as an Environmental Health and Sustainability GIS Analyst with the City of Aspen, where they created databases and GIS maps to influence local policy. Alex earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Redlands and studied Environmental Studies at The University of Freiburg. Additionally, Alex has extensive experience in outdoor programs and leadership, having worked as an Outdoor Programs Trip Leader and Camp Director.
