David Wachal

David Wachal is the Director of Water Sector at Esri, where they are currently responsible for developing and executing Go-To-Market strategies, aligning various departments to promote geospatial intelligence solutions for the Infrastructure industry. Prior to this role, David held several positions at Esri, including Business Development Manager and Senior Consultant, where they focused on business development and sales support for Water Utilities. David’s extensive experience also includes roles at the US Army Corps of Engineers and the City of Denton. They earned a PhD in Environmental Science, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Geography, all from the University of North Texas.
