Kevin Ford

Kevin Ford is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Esri since September 2021. Previously, Kevin held the same title at the North Dakota Information Technology Department, where responsibilities included advising on cybersecurity strategy for one of the nation's largest public networks. Kevin has extensive experience in promoting security culture and managing enterprise information systems at CyberGRX and has led security assessments for high-profile clients as Director of Assessment. Additional roles include involvement in the development of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework at Genex Systems and serving as a Master Information Assurance and Security Specialist for NASA. Kevin’s experience spans various sectors, including significant contributions to cybersecurity policy at Deloitte and a foundational background in IT support and HIPAA compliance. Kevin holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity Policy and Leadership and dual Bachelor's degrees in History and Philosophy from the University of Maryland.
