Alan Douville

Alan Douville is CIO and CISO at Stryker Corporation, one of the world’s leading medical technology companies producing products and services in over 100 countries around the world. Alan leads the global IT team across all aspects of application, infrastructure, security and network services as well as supporting all +30,000 employees with projects, support and technical services. Alan is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

Alan joined Stryker in January 2015, from Whirlpool Corporation where he served as VP, global IS operations and security, as well as the CIO of North America. Alan led the company’s worldwide operational excellence program, driving the company to align operations and security to match the global growth requirements of the enterprise. Whirlpool is the leading manufacturer of major home appliances with revenues of $18 billion.

Prior to Whirlpool, Alan was with Diageo PLC where he served as the SVP of IT, leading many global strategic programs. Alan led the company’s worldwide SAP consolidation program, driving the company to a single global ERP instance. Diageo is the world’s leading premium drinks business with an outstanding collection of beverage alcohol brands across spirits, wine and beer categories, with revenues of $20 billion.

Alan is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Fraternity Business Management Forum. Alan received an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Maine.
