Lain Graham

Solution Engineer Team Lead, National Government Health & Sciences at Esri

Lain Graham, Ph.D., RPA, serves as the Solution Engineer Team Lead for National Government Health & Sciences at Esri since August 2018, following roles as Senior Solution Engineer and Solution Engineer. In addition, Lain is a Geosciences Graduate Faculty Lecturer at the University of Maryland, instructing GEOG666: Drones, Imagery, and Remote Sensing. As a Registered Professional Archaeologist with the Register of Professional Archaeologists since March 2016, Lain has also held the position of Co-Principal Investigator for the NSF REU/RET Field Site in Belize, focusing on GIS and community geography, and served as an Archaeological Research Associate at the Smithsonian Institution until November 2023. Lain has extensive experience in archaeology, having previously worked with New South Associates, Inc., and has held various academic roles during graduate studies at multiple institutions, culminating in a Ph.D. in Sociology with an emphasis on GIS from the University of Central Florida.
