Mia Xu

Mia Xu is a seasoned Product Designer currently serving as a Product Designer II at Esri, focusing on the Esri Calcite Brand Design System since November 2023. Prior experience includes leading end-to-end designs at SimpleHealth for a B2C e-commerce website and B2B platforms, achieving significant increases in conversion rates through collaboration with cross-functional teams. Mia also played a pivotal role as the design owner for the EMME iOS app and contributed to UI/UX projects for startups at Luxi.digital, exploring user behavior and product usability. Earlier experience includes working as a Conceptual Product Designer at The Museum of Modern Art, where innovative sellable products were prototyped, and as a User Experience Designer at Johnson & Johnson, where a digital service app was developed from inception. Mia holds a Master's degree in Products of Design from the School of Visual Arts and additional training in Interaction Design and a Bachelor's in Industrial Design from Luxun Academy of Fine Arts.
