Rebecca Mettler

Rebecca Mettler is an experienced media relations strategist and communications professional with a diverse background in both public relations and journalism. Currently serving as the Influence Marketing/Senior Media Relations Strategist at Esri since January 2020, Mettler has also held multiple key roles, including Principal Speaker Trainer at Direct Access PR and various positions at IBM, where responsibilities included simplifying complex information for digital platforms and enhancing executive visibility. Throughout a career spanning over two decades, Mettler has worked with notable organizations such as BOCA Communications, Eastwick, and Neale-May and Partners, showcasing expertise in media relations, content writing, and strategic communications that has resulted in significant media coverage in major outlets. Mettler holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and completed a program at The Wharton School in 2018.
