Uriah Burchinal

Uriah Burchinal, MBA, currently serves as the Third Party Risk Leader at Esri, a position held since December 2024. Previously, Uriah was the Director of Information Security and CISO at eMed Digital Healthcare from April 2022 to December 2024, where a comprehensive global information security strategy was developed and executed, ensuring compliance with various regulations. Prior to that role, Uriah managed a Governance Risk and Compliance team at the North Dakota Information Technology Department from October 2012 to March 2022, leading efforts to address security risks. Earlier experience includes serving as Guaranteed Networks CIO at SLPowers, where strategic policies for client network systems were established, and as Operations Manager at BEK Business Solutions, overseeing the company’s strategic business planning and staff productivity. Uriah holds master's degrees in Information Assurance and Computer Security from Dakota State University and Business Administration, as well as a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Mary.
