Prapanch Nair

Prapanch Nair is an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi since April 2021, bringing a wealth of experience in scientific research and consultancy. As a Consultant Scientist at ESS - Engineering Software Steyr since June 2021, Prapanch Nair also served as a Senior Scientist at the same company for a brief period in 2020. Prior roles include functioning as an HPC and Numerical Algorithms expert at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics, contributing to nuclear fusion simulation code development, and as a Post Doctoral Researcher at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, focusing on surface tension-driven flows relevant to various industries. Prapanch Nair’s academic foundation includes a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, where research concentrated on fluid-solid interactions using meshless methods, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Park College of Engineering and Technology.
