Alex Martin

Alex Martin has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Alex is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Abcuro, Inc since October 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Chairman of the Board at VERALOX Therapeutics starting from September 2020. Alex also worked as a Director at ESSA Pharmaceuticals starting from July 2019.

Before their current roles, Alex served as the Chief Executive Officer at Palladio Biosciences, Inc. from August 2019 to September 2022. Alex was also a Board Director at RASNA THERAPEUTICS LIMITED from September 2016 to July 2019.

Earlier in their career, Alex held the position of CEO at Realm Therapeutics, Inc. from June 2015 to July 2019. Alex was the President at moksha8 from June 2011 to May 2015. Prior to that, they served as the CEO at Affectis Pharmaceuticals from June 2009 to January 2011 and as the COO at Intercept Pharmaceuticals from April 2007 to May 2009.

Alex's career started at BioXell where they served as the CFO/CBO from an unspecified start date to 2007. Overall, Alex Martin has held key leadership positions in several pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies throughout their career.

Alex Martin completed high school at Scarsdale High School. Alex then went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from Cornell University from 1985 to 1989. Later, from 1993 to 1995, Alex pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in General Management from Harvard Business School.
