Bhawesh Chandra Jha

Bhawesh Chandra Jha is a seasoned professional in the iron ore processing and mineral beneficiation industry, currently serving as Joint General Manager at Essar Minmet since August 2025. Previously, Jha held significant roles at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India, including Head of Section for Process & Technology in Beneficiation and Head of Production, from December 2019 to August 2025. Prior experience includes leading production at Essar Steel and overseeing operations as Operations Manager at BRPL, Stemcor Group, where responsibilities included the management of an 800 tph iron ore beneficiation plant. Jha's early career featured roles at Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. and JSW Steel Ltd., with a strong focus on operational efficiency and process integration. Jha holds a PGD in Mineral Engineering from IMMT, CSIR-AIST and a B. Tech. in Materials & Metallurgical Engineering from the National Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology Ranchi.
