Arvind Chopra

Arvind Chopra has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Arvind currently holds the position of Chief Risk and Assurance Officer at Essar Oil (UK) Limited since 2022. Prior to this, Arvind worked as an Independent Consultant and Advisor at their own consultancy firm, Arvind Chopra - Business Consultant, from 2019 to 2022. During this time, they also served as an Advisor at IDmission from 2020 to 2022. Arvind has held senior positions such as Senior Technical Advisor at SCV & Co. LLP from 2019 to 2022 and Chairman of the Advisory Board at MGC Global Risk Advisory LLP from 2019 to 2022. Arvind also worked as a Principal Advisor at Soni Chatrath & Co. and InnerWave from 2019 to 2022. Prior to these roles, Arvind worked at Bharti Enterprises as the Group Director - Internal Assurance from 2015 to 2018. Arvind also held the position of Group President - Assurance at Essar Group from 2011 to 2015. Before joining these organizations, Arvind served as the Managing Director at EWK International from 2010 to 2011.

Arvind Chopra completed their education at various institutions. Arvind attended The Scindia School from 1976 to 1980 where they completed their High School education. Arvind then attended Modern School from 1980 to 1982, focusing on Commerce subjects and obtaining an AISSCE degree. Arvind later pursued higher education at Shri Ram College of Commerce from 1982 to 1985, where they obtained a B-Com (Hons) degree with a specialization in Commerce. Finally, from 1985 to 1988, Arvind studied at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and obtained their FCA degree.
