Daisy Rickett

Daisy Rickett has extensive work experience in the oil industry. Daisy started their career as a Refinery Process Operator at Shell in March 2011, before moving to Essar Oil (UK) Limited in August 2011 to work in the same role. Daisy worked as a Refinery Process Operator at Essar Oil (UK) Limited until September 2015.

In May 2016, Daisy returned to Essar Oil (UK) Limited as an Operations Competence Lead for a few months before transitioning to the role of Refinery Asset Production Specialist- Turnaround & Projects in November 2016. In this role, they were responsible for planning and coordinating turnarounds, developing operational plans and procedures, and optimizing turnaround scopes.

Daisy then worked as a Production Team Leader from October 2018 to December 2019 before becoming the Turnaround Operational Focal Point & Flawless Coordinator from December 2019 to November 2020. Daisy was then promoted to Operations Manager in November 2020.

Currently, Daisy holds the position of a Turnaround Operations Lead & Flawless Coordinator at Essar Oil (UK) Limited, which they started in April 2023.

Daisy Rickett's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Industrial Engineering from Wrexham University (2016-2017), an HNC & HND in Operations Engineering from St Helens Technology College (2011-2013), a Multi-skilled Apprenticeship program in Engineering from TTE Training (2007-2011), and GCSEs from Bishops Bluecoat Church of England (2002-2007). Additionally, they obtained a certification in the First Line Leaders Programme from ILM in 2017.
