John McStea

John McStea is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in reliability transformation and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as the Head of Reliability Transformation and previously in various leadership roles at EET Fuels since June 2019, McStea has demonstrated expertise in engineering transformations. Prior military experience includes serving as a Commissioned Officer in the British Army within a specialized section of the Royal Engineers, where recruitment of individuals with oil and gas backgrounds was a focus. Earlier roles include significant positions at Essar Oil (UK) Limited and Shell, contributing to mechanical engineering projects. McStea holds a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leicester, attained from 2003 to 2008.
