Raman Jaggi has a wealth of experience in finance and strategic roles in various industries. Starting in 2000, they worked as a Corporate Finance Executive at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited. From 2001 to 2007, they served as the General Manager of Finance at Essar Oil, where they managed project financing for a large oil refinery. Raman then joined Essar as a Vice President in Group Global Finance, where they established the company's presence in the UK and facilitated strategic financing and fundraising for portfolio companies.
In 2014, Jaggi became the Chief Financial Officer of Riverdale Commodities SA, a global leader in energy and logistics solutions. Raman was responsible for board membership and financial oversight of the business. In 2018, they moved on to become the Director of Group Strategic Finance & Treasury at GFG Alliance, a conglomerate with investments in metals, mining, renewable energy, and engineering. Their responsibilities included treasury management and strategic funding.
In 2020, Jaggi took on the role of Director of Group Strategic Finance at Lycamobile Group, a large multinational virtual network operator. Here, they played a vital role in diversifying the company's operations and helped expand its presence in various industries.
More recently, in 2021, Jaggi took up the position of Chief Financial Officer at Stanlow Terminals, the UK's largest liquid fuel and biofuel storage terminal. Raman is spearheading initiatives related to hydrogen storage solutions and carbon capture, contributing to the UK's decarbonization goals.
Throughout their career, Jaggi has demonstrated their expertise in finance, treasury operations, capital markets, risk management, and strategic financing. Raman has worked with multinational companies, managing budgets, capital markets, liquidity, and investor relations.
Raman Jaggi has a Master of Business Administration - MBA degree with a specialization in Finance, Strategy & Entrepreneurship from the London Business School. Raman also has a degree in Advance Management Studies with a focus on International Business from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. In addition, they hold a degree in International Treasury Management with a concentration in Treasury Operations & Risk Management from the Association of Corporate Treasurers. Raman obtained their Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Economics with a specialization in Taxation from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics.
