Justin Fuller-Thomson

Justin Fuller-Thomson is an experienced Engineering Assistant Metallurgist at Essar Steel Algoma Inc. since July 2015. Prior roles include a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto, where procedures for a combustion lab were developed and researched, and an Engineering Co-op Student at Natural Resources Canada, where a pioneering procedure for mechanical alloying of ODS Stainless Steels was created and approved. Justin demonstrated problem-solving skills during a challenging project, achieving safety approval in a limited timeframe. Additionally, an internship at ArcelorMittal focused on characterizing and heat-treating Fe-Mn-C steels. Justin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Engineering from McMaster University, completed in 2016, and a high school diploma in Materials Engineering from Humberside Collegiate Institute.
