Mike Moraca

Mike Moraca is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in treasury and cost management roles. Currently serving as Treasurer and Investor Relations Officer at Algoma Steel Inc., Mike has held various positions since joining the company in May 2006, including Assistant Treasurer and Cost Control Accountant. Prior to this, Mike worked as an Independent Consultant for the Government of Ontario, where dynamic cost models were developed to support strategic decisions related to infertility and adoption. Mike's earlier experience includes serving as Lead Financial Accountant at Algoma Central Corporation, responsible for the preparation of financial reports and variance analysis. Mike holds a CPA, CMA in Management Accounting from CPA Canada (2004-2007) and a BACS in Finance/Administration from Western University (2000-2004).
