Caroline Wanga

Caroline A. Wanga serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Essence Ventures, a position held since October 2022, while also holding roles as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Growth Officer at Essence Communications Inc. since June 2020. Wanga co-founded WangaWoman LLC in October 2020 and is an active member of the Diversity Marketing Advisory Council at McDonald's and the Community Council at American Airlines. Prior experience includes a significant 15-year tenure at Target, where Wanga held various roles related to culture, diversity, inclusion, and human resources, culminating as Chief Culture, Diversity & Inclusion Officer. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Texas College.
