Tamish Bates

Tamish Bates is a seasoned video producer and digital engagement director with a diverse background in entertainment and marketing. Currently serving as a Video Producer for Branded Entertainment at Essence Communications Inc. since September 2019, Tamish has advanced from the marketing team to this creative role. Concurrently, serving as the Worship + Digital Engagement Director at First Corinthian Baptist Church since November 2016, bringing musical and digital vision to the community. As an independent entertainment professional since 2012, Tamish has worked as an artist, songwriter, speaker, and business owner, with notable experience in recording and touring. Prior experience includes several roles at Starcom MediaVest Group, where Tamish managed multicultural communications for Procter & Gamble brands, and a marketing internship with Universal Music Group. Tamish holds a B.S. in Advertising from Syracuse University.
