Shahar Cohen

Shahar Cohen is an experienced RT embedded engineer at Essence Group since December 2020, where extensive collaboration with cross-company divisions and hardware teams led to the development of a novel smoke detector and the improvement of smoke detection algorithms, achieving zero false alarms. Prior roles include Embedded Software Developer at Servotronix Motion Control, where software was developed from requirements to customer support, and Validation Supervisor at InSight Biopharmaceuticals LTD., overseeing validation projects in biopharmaceuticals. Shahar began a career in analytical chemistry as an analytical chemist at Teva Specialty Pharmaceuticals and has a solid educational foundation with an M.Sc. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Tel Aviv University and a B.Sc. in Biotechnology and Food Engineering from the Technion.
