Martha Butler

Martha Butler is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in operations management. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Plan Operations at Lumeris since January 2022, Martha also holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Essence Healthcare since June 2005, where notable contributions include co-managing a 5 Star rated Medicare Advantage health plan and establishing governing policies for CMS compliance. Previous roles at Lumeris include President and Senior Vice President of Health Plan Operations, overseeing clinical operations encompassing Quality Management and Utilization Management. Martha's earlier experience includes serving as Executive Director at Esse Health and Director of IT Business Systems at Coventry Health Care. Martha holds a Master’s degree in Public Health and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, both from Saint Louis University.
