Franciska Dethlefsen

Franciska Dethlefsen serves as a GTM Advisor at Essence Venture Capital since October 2021, contributing to a community of founders and operators in infrastructure and data during the formative stages of their ventures. Previously, Franciska held multiple senior roles at Amplitude from June 2021 to January 2025, including Senior Director of Growth and Head of Growth Marketing, following a tenure at Iteratively, an Amplitude Company. Additionally, Franciska has advised various companies such as DevZero, Metaplane, Metaphor Data, and Stackwatch, focusing on enhancing engineering efficiency and data observability. Franciska’s career began with positions in investment and brand strategy, complemented by an MBA from Copenhagen Business School and a Bachelor's in International Business from the same institution, along with international exposure through studies in Hong Kong.
