Sofus MacSkássy

Sofus Macskássy is a seasoned expert in data science and machine learning with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies and institutions. Currently serving as Co-founder and Chief Scientist at stealth since June 2024, Sofus is also an Advisor and Mentor at Alchemist Accelerator and a Limited Partner at Essence Venture Capital. Sofus holds a position on the Advisory Board for the MS Analytics program at Georgia Institute of Technology. Previous roles include Director of Engineering for Data at LinkedIn, Vice President of Data Science at HackerRank, and Manager at Facebook overseeing applied machine learning and core data science teams. Sofus's academic involvement includes serving as an Assistant Research Professor and Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern California, with a strong research focus on machine learning applications. Sofus earned a PhD, MS, and BA in Computer Science from Rutgers University.
