Dr Dan Eddy

Dr. Dan Eddy is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in heritage consultancy and sports history. Currently serving as a Heritage Consultant for the Essendon Football Club and as a Committee Member for the AFL Premiership Players Club since 2021, Dr. Eddy also has extensive experience as a freelance writer since 2010. Dr. Eddy holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Art History, Criticism and Conservation from Federation University Australia and has completed two Master's degrees in Sport History and Social Sciences from Victoria University. Previous roles include Secretary & Media Manager for AFL Canada and Producer for 3AW, alongside early career experience as a Production Assistant at GTV 9.
