Will Carter

Will Carter is a seasoned communications and marketing professional with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as General Manager of Communications at Essendon Football Club since October 2022, Will also co-founded Smith Street Studio and Monte Slippers, both established in 2021 and 2017, respectively. Prior roles include Head of Communications at Bursty, where a focus on brand storytelling was paramount, and AFL Talent and VFL/W Media Manager, enhancing exposure for national football programs. Notable positions at Godolphin included Head of Media, Content and Marketing, and earlier roles at ANZ involved corporate banking and sales operations analysis. Will holds a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Media & Communications from the University of Melbourne and has a strong background in journalism, social media, and marketing strategy.
