Aiko van Den Kommer

Aiko van den Kommer is currently serving as a Corporate Controller at Essent since September 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Business Controller at citizenM hotels, where responsibilities encompassed cash flow forecasting, management reporting, and budgeting from August 2020 to September 2024. Aiko's background also includes positions at KPMG as an Associate in Deal Advisory for M&A Transaction Services, and at NIBC Bank in various roles, including Associate Management Control, where Aiko reported performance metrics to top management and was involved in the IPO process. Aiko began a career in finance as a Junior Broker at BinckBank, after gaining experience as an intern at ING. Aiko holds a Certified Management Accountant designation from VU Amsterdam and advanced degrees in Finance & Investments and Business Administration from Erasmus University.
