Mary Engels

Mary Engels serves as the Senior Director of Organizational Learning and Development at Essentia Health since January 2018, building on a comprehensive career within the organization that began in 2001. Throughout this tenure, Mary has held various leadership roles, including System Director of Organizational Learning and Development, Manager of Organizational Learning and Development, Manager of Workforce Development, Specialist in Leadership Development, and Clinical Nutrition Manager. To enhance professional qualifications, Mary is currently participating in the Modern Chief Diversity Officer (CDO) Cohort at Cornell University, and previously obtained a Post Masters Certificate in Organizational Development from the College of St. Scholastica and a Master of Science in Health Services Administration from the University of St. Francis. Mary's academic background also includes a Bachelor of Arts in Nutrition and Dietetics from the College of St. Scholastica.
