Melanie Ripley

Melanie Ripley is an experienced Addiction Medicine physician currently serving at Essentia Health since August 2020, where roles include Attending Physician and Acute Opioid Medical Director. Prior to this, Melanie worked as an Attending Physician at Cook County Health from August 2018 to August 2020. Education includes a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree earned at the University of New England from 2010 to 2014, following a Bachelor's Degree in Classics from Fordham University obtained between 2002 and 2006. Additional training includes student roles at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and Samaritan Medical Center, along with research experience as a Research Assistant II at Tufts Medical Center from June 2008 to July 2010.
