Michael Morris

Michael Morris currently serves as the Strategy and Business Development Director at Essentia Health, where responsibilities include overseeing the implementation of the enterprise strategic plan and facilitating the development of annual plans across the health system. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Director of Strategic Planning, Business Development and Marketing at St. Francis Regional Medical Center for over 15 years, also serving as Director of the Saints Foundation since 2019. Michael has experience as a Board Member for HomeTown Bank Minnesota and participated in Leadership Minnesota, gaining insight into the state's economic landscape. Earlier roles included strategic planning and analysis positions at Catholic Health Initiatives, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Michael holds an MHA from the University of Iowa, an Emergency Department Design certificate from Harvard University, and a B.A. in Health Promotion from the University of Northern Iowa.
