Shawn Christianson

Shawn Christianson, MBA, CPHQ, serves as the West Region Director of Quality and Patient Safety at Essentia Health, a position held since December 2010, while also fulfilling the role of System Director of Quality and Patient Safety. In addition, Shawn is the Chief Quality Officer for Essentia Health St. Mary's, contributing to quality initiatives within the organization. Prior experience includes a directorial role at Sanford Health Neurosciences from September 2007 to December 2010 and serving as Clinic Director at Golden Valley Mental Health from August 1997 to September 2007. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Healthcare Administration from the University of St. Thomas (2004-2006) and a BS in Business Administration from Minnesota State University Moorhead (1987-1994), complemented by a high school diploma from Moorhead Senior High (1984-1987).
