Jim McWhorter

Jim McWhorter has a strong background in construction and infrastructure services. Jim currently holds the position of Vice President - Construction at Essentia, Inc., where they lead a team focused on designing and building outdoor and indoor networks using innovative technologies. Prior to this, Jim served as Executive Vice President - SDT West at SDT Solutions, LLC, where they were responsible for managing a large team and overseeing engineering and construction projects. Jim also held multiple roles at GW Communications, including Senior Vice President of Construction Services, Vice President of Corporate Services, and Director of Operations, where they played a key role in business development, operations, and managing corporate functions.

Jim McWhorter holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Management from LeTourneau University. Jim has obtained various certifications, including a Texas Professional Inspector certification from the Texas Real Estate Commission in October 2003. Additionally, they have pursued several license qualifiers in different states such as Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Nevada, New Mexico, Virginia, and West Virginia in areas related to low voltage systems, excavating, grading, oil surfacing, underground piping, cable, trenching, boring, communication cabling, general engineering, telephone communication systems, electronic/communications, heavy highway, and telecom infrastructure services.
