Annie Sumberg is an experienced professional in public health and clinical administration, currently serving as Associate Vice President of Capacity Building at Essential Access Health since March 2020, where roles have also included Senior Director and Project Director for Medication Abortion Access. Prior to this, Annie worked at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as a Research Health Science Specialist/Project Manager from February 2019 to March 2020. With a background in Planned Parenthood of New York City, Inc., Annie held various positions, culminating in Associate Director of Clinical Administration from October 2012 to July 2018. Annie's career began with a role as Program Assistant at Volunteers of Legal Service from September 2010 to September 2013. Academically, Annie earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Community Health Education from CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy (2015-2018) and a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies from Brooklyn College (2008-2010), having previously attended Clark University (2006-2008).
