Marissa Marqusee is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Program Manager for the Medication Abortion Access Program at Essential Access Health since May 2023. Previously, Marissa held various roles at the Los Angeles LGBT Center, including Program Manager for the Audre Lorde Health Program, where a commitment to supporting women and gender-expansive individuals was paramount, as well as serving as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in both the Audre Lorde Health Program and as a Care Coordinator. Marissa's extensive background also includes working as a Licensed Vocational Nurse at the Trans Wellness Center, focusing on transgender and non-binary healthcare, and previous nursing roles at Services for the UnderServed, Project Renewal, and WESTSIDE GI CENTER, LLC. Marissa earned a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science/Community Health from Mercy University and completed Licensed Practical Nurse training at Dutchess BOCES-School of Practical Nursing.
