Prior to that, they earned their Master's degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy from Phillips Graduate University, where they attended from 1992 to 1994. Nomsa also holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they studied from 1987 to 1991.
As for certifications, Nomsa recently obtained a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in December 2021. Nomsa is also registered as a Marriage and Family Therapist by the Board of Behavioral Sciences, although the exact date of obtaining this certification is not provided.
