Ashish Vaswani

Ashish Vaswani's work experience includes co-founding and serving as CEO of Essential AI, a company they joined in December 2022. Prior to that, they co-founded Adept AI Labs and held the role of Chief Scientist from January 2022 to November 2022. From July 2016 to November 2021, they worked at Google Brain as a Staff Research Scientist. Before that, they worked as a Computer Scientist at the Information Sciences Institute from July 2014 to June 2016. Ashish Vaswani also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Southern California from May 2008 to May 2014. Ashish gained experience as a Summer Research Intern at Google in 2013 and as a Summer Research Intern at IBM in 2011.

Ashish Vaswani completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from BIT Mesra Student-Industry Relations Cell in 2002. Ashish then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California from 2004 to 2006. Later on, they achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, completing it in 2014.
