Filza Tariq is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in internal audit and assurance roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Acting Head of Internal Audit at Essential Energy since July 2022, Filza has held positions including Senior Internal Auditor and Internal Auditor. Previous experience includes roles at PwC Australia as an Assurance Associate, and at PKF Sydney & Newcastle as an Audit Analyst. Filza has also contributed to education as an Accounting Tutor at The Career Academy. Filza holds a Master of Accounting from Macquarie University and several certifications, including CPA and Data Analyst Certification from DataCamp, along with a BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.
