Richard Chasin has extensive experience in psychiatry, with a career spanning several decades that includes roles in teaching, practice, and various leadership positions. Currently, Richard Chasin operates in a private practice focusing on adult and couple therapy while also providing prescriptions for psychotropic medications. As a Senior Associate at the Public Conversations Project, Richard Chasin engages with groups in conflict over public controversies. Previously, Richard Chasin served as an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, where responsibilities included teaching family therapy and developing negotiation curricula. Richard Chasin held board member positions at both the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and Rockefeller & Co, and served as President of the American Family Therapy Academy and the Rockefeller Family Fund. Richard Chasin's military service included a role as Captain in the Medical Corps of the United States Air Force. Richard Chasin earned an M.D. from Harvard Medical School and holds a BA from Yale University.
