In 2006, they were appointed President of Alcan Packaging. Ralf then moved to Norsk Hydro in 2007, where they served as Managing Director of Malaysia and Executive Vice President of Finance Asia.

In 2010, Ralf joined Amcor Flexibles Asia Pacific as President & Managing Director. Ralf was responsible for Amcor's flexible packaging businesses in the region, which included 12 plants and 3,500 employees. Ralf successfully grew the business and increased profitability during their seven-year tenure.

In 2017, Ralf left Amcor to join Bregal Unternehmerkapital GmbH as an Operating Partner. Ralf advised the Board on a range of topics, including strategy, M&A, and operations.

In 2018, Ralf became an Adviser to the Board at Elif Global. Ralf provided guidance on a variety of strategic and operational issues.
