Stefan Popa

Stefan Popa has extensive work experience in finance and management roles. Stefan began their career at Ernst & Young, where they worked as a Senior Consultant and later as an Assistant Manager. In 2003, they joined Avery Dennison as a Finance Manager, and over the years, they held various positions including Finance Director for Eastern Europe & Turkey, Finance Director for Retail Branding and Information Solutions in Europe, and Finance Director for Commercial Finance in Europe and New/Emerging Markets. In 2016, Popa joined Cobham as a VP Finance, and in 2018, they became the Finance Director for Europe & Asia in the Packaging Division at Essentra.

Stefan Popa holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Computer Science from the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Mathematics, which they obtained between 1991 and 1996. Stefan also has a BA (Honors) in Management from the University of Aberdeen, UK & Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest, which they earned from 1994 to 1998. In addition, Stefan Popa has completed the Chartered Accountant - IFRS program at CECCAR in 2002 and became a Qualified Accountant (IFRS/US GAAP/UK GAAP) at FCCA in the UK by 2005.
