Soumya Mahapatra

Soumya Mahapatra has been working in the tech industry since 2004. Soumya began their career at Infosys as a Software Engineer. In 2006, they joined UST Global as a Systems Analyst, where they led a team of three developers to create several productivity improvement modules. In 2010, they joined Cognizant as an Associate Director of Client Services, where they sold and led execution of several strategic digital transformation programs. In 2018, they graduated from the Founder Institute. In 2019, they founded and became the CEO of Essenvia, where they drive the strategy and product roadmap to build the platform to streamline the Medical device pre and postmarket workflow.

Soumya Mahapatra obtained a Bachelor of Technology - BTech in Electronics Engineering from Odisha University of Technology and Research between 2000 and 2004. Afterward, they attended UCLA Anderson School of Management from 2015 to 2017, where they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General. In December 2017, they also obtained a Certified Product Manager (CPM) from General Assembly.
