Chris Smith has over 35 years of experience in the education sector, primarily with Essex County Council since 1988. As Lead Senior Adviser for Target Tracker, Chris manages a team that develops software utilized by over 2,000 schools across 93 local authorities and 14 countries, with a focus on data requirements and preparation for Ofsted inspections. Previously, as an ICT adviser, Chris created a team of leading ICT teachers, training approximately 10,000 educators in Essex to enhance the use of technology in classrooms. Additionally, Chris served as a Science Adviser, fostering improved teaching practices in science education.
