Collen Riva

Collen Riva is an experienced social worker with a robust background in social services and education. Currently serving as a Senior Social Worker at Essex County Council since May 2016, Riva previously held the position of Level 3 Social Worker at the London Borough of Enfield and worked at LBWF as both a Social Worker and Support Worker for over a decade. Riva’s earlier experience includes teaching roles spanning from the Zimbabwe Ministry of Education and Culture to a Supply Teacher position at Teaching Personnel in the UK. Riva's academic credentials include an MSc in Dementia from the University of Hull, an Approved Mental Health Professional qualification from the University of Hertfordshire, and a BA in Social Work from The Open University, complemented by a BA in English & Communication Studies from the University of Zimbabwe.
