Jim Aldridge

Jim Aldridge is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in waste management and IT programme delivery. Currently serving as Programme Director for Waste Management at Essex County Council since June 2015, Jim previously held the position of Head of CIO Programmes at Suffolk County Council from 2008 to May 2015, overseeing a team of 30 in the design and execution of IT initiatives. Jim's earlier roles include Strategic IT Programme Manager and Waste Programme Director at Suffolk County Council, where a significant achievement was the commissioning of a £1 billion Energy-from-Waste facility to eliminate landfill dependency. Prior experience as a Senior OD Consultant at CSD involved crafting strategies to enhance performance and facilitate transformational change for various clients. Jim holds a BA (Hons) in Sociology and Social Anthropology from the University of Hull and a CIM Management qualification from Anglia Ruskin University.
