Jim Wilkinson

Jim Wilkinson serves as the Commissioner for Skills Development at Essex County Council, a role held since 2006, where leadership involves enhancing digital knowledge and capabilities among residents and businesses in Essex through collaboration with regional stakeholders. Previous positions include Technology Hybrid Working Lead and Skills Manager, where Jim Wilkinson developed project pipelines for ESF funding and managed a work experience scheme supporting disadvantaged youth. Additionally, Jim Wilkinson coordinated the Digital Skills Partnership for the South East Local Enterprise Partnership, enhancing digital capabilities in Essex, Kent, and East Sussex.
