Katie Giddins

Katie Giddins is an experienced Program Manager at Essex County Council, leading the all-age Essex Healthy Weight Programme within Public Health to combat obesity. With a robust background in project management, Giddins has previously served as Delivery Assurance Manager, overseeing transformation initiatives that resulted in over £250 million in savings, and as Governance, Standards and QA Manager, responsible for maintaining a comprehensive delivery plan for complex programmes. Prior roles include positions at G4S, managing a significant security operation for the 2012 London Olympics, and as a Research Analyst at Groupon UK & IE. Giddins holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Roehampton.
