Frankie Parks has a comprehensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting with Acxiom in 1993, they held multiple positions, including being a Senior System Engineer/Team Leader. In this role, they were responsible for managing physical and virtual servers, petabytes of client dedicated storage, VMWare environments, and leading and training a team.

In 2017, Frankie joined Leidos Biomedical/National Cancer Institute as a Cloud Systems Engineer, where they worked closely with developers to implement cloud-based solutions and managed automated CI/CD pipelines for testing and deployment within the AWS Cloud. Their primary focus was on production support, security, high availability, and auto-scaling resources.

Currently, Frankie is working at Essex, an Emmes Company, as a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer. Their responsibilities include implementing cloud-based solutions, adapting non-cloud native or 3rd party solutions for cloud environments, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines for Docker and Lambda within the AWS Cloud.

Frankie Parks earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Central Arkansas, attending from 1998 to 2001. In addition to their degree, Frankie has obtained several certifications, including the DPN Technical Specialist Certification from Datadog in March 2023, the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2022, the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate from Amazon Web Services in October 2017, the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7) from Red Hat in April 2016, the Red Hat Certified Engineer (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6) from Red Hat in March 2013, and the Red Hat Certified Engineer (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5) from Red Hat in June 2010.
